Labyrinth
A maze of colour fields
- Place
- Westfälische Salzwelten, Bad Sassendorf
- Period
- 2026
Each scene generates a new labyrinth. Connected corridors each carry one colour; rooms and branches structure the image. Building blocks find their way through the corridors.
The camera moves like a plane of its own above the maze: it zooms in, tilts and occasionally turns right round. Touches make the building blocks explode into colour powder and nudge the camera.
“Labyrinth” is part of the Farbexplosion series and can be experienced at the Ferromone family festival “Farbexplosion” at the Westfälische Salzwelten, Bad Sassendorf – on Saturday, 17 October 2026, 6 to 10 pm.
Placement in the post-digital model of positing
The labyrinth is a posited order: right-angled corridors, one colour per field, building blocks on fixed routes. Where a touch makes them explode, a free, informal cloud enters this grid – without contour, but with volume, and therefore still representational.
