Tunnel

The rings approach from a distance, transparent, turn in impulses and pass by. The tunnel meanders, the camera flies through it.

Building blocks ride along on the arcs of the rings. Touching them makes them explode into colour powder that spreads through the tunnel.

“Tunnel” is part of the Farbexplosion series and can be experienced at the Ferromone family festival “Farbexplosion” at the Westfälische Salzwelten, Bad Sassendorf – on Saturday, 17 October 2026, 6 to 10 pm.

Placement in the post-digital model of positing

The tunnel continues the circular order of Scheibe into the depth: ring follows ring, each a clearly bounded form. Where a building block explodes, colour powder fills the hollow between the rings – a form without contour that becomes experienceable as space, and thereby representational, precisely for that reason.
