Pfade

Three-dimensional building blocks travel through space along calm routes, bundled into clusters of discs, rings and cogwheel patterns. Each scene rearranges routes and groups: sometimes tightly packed, sometimes widely fanned out.

Visitors intervene directly. A touch makes building blocks swell, the explosion carries neighbours with it, and a cloud of colour powder in the object's colours spreads through the space.

“Pfade” is part of the Farbexplosion series and can be experienced at the Ferromone family festival “Farbexplosion” at the Westfälische Salzwelten, Bad Sassendorf – on Saturday, 17 October 2026, 6 to 10 pm.

Placement in the post-digital model of positing

Discs, rings and cogwheels on fixed routes are positings of Concrete Art. The touch dissolves them into a cloud of colour powder: the form loses contour and mathematical order and becomes informal – it remains representational all the same, because it continues to take up space. As in FLACHER RAUM the form changes its state; in the Farbexplosion series the change from form into the contourless is added.
